Sapphira Olson is an author, artist and poet. Born in St Austell she now lives in Liskeard in the UK with her partner Jessica.

She has six published novels with Elsewhen Press and has been short listed for the Galaxy British Book Awards and twice for the Arthur C. Clarke Award. She was the senior editor of The View From Here Literary Magazine and has interviewed authors such as Julian Barnes, the late Iain Banks and Markus Zusak and worked with people like Scott Pack who described her magazine as, “Consistently interesting and entertaining,” and the late Iain Banks who said, tongue in cheek, “Attractive, informative, sparkling and useful – so many of things I’m not – sigh.”

An Android Awakes, which is one of her earlier works, was a number one best seller with Waterstones who stocked it in their UK stores and was launched and featured at The Film and Comic Con in Brighton. Her poetry collections The Girl In The Garden and Stanley Park have both been Amazon number one best sellers.

When not working she loves spending time in the countryside and enjoys watching films and listening to her vinyl records.
